When He slew them, they they sought Him;
And they returned and sought earnestly for God.
Then they remembered that God was their Rock,
And the most High God their redeemer.
Psalm 78:34-35

Have you been slain lately?
Not in a pentecostal way.
But emotionally, relationally, economically, socially?

 Has there been a loss to your financial situation?
A loss in social standing?
A loss of relationship.
A career ended?
A humbling experience?

“Why Lord?
Why has this happened?
It’s not fair you know.
I have served you faithfully.
I’ve worked hard.
Why have you allowed this?”

You ever uttered these types of prayers?

Maybe the Lord has allowed you to be “slain” for His purposes.
To get you to return to Him and seek Him once more.
So that you might remember that He is your Rock and He is
your Redeemer.
