Yesterday was my daughter Gemma’s birthday. She is five years old. The picture above is from her party over the weekend. That’s Claudia, her best buddy.
My daughter is a nutty girl. She’s fun, she’s silly, she’s smart, she’s cute, and every now and then says something truly profound.
Tonight we were playing hopscotch in the house (it was one of her new presents). As she was hopping and jumping, she said “This is just like heaven is going to be”.
“What do you mean?” I said.
“well the people who are lame and can’t walk or move will be able to leap and dance and move in heaven.”
Dang. She’s smart.
