I was listening to Jon Courson the other day teaching through the book of John.
He had a good point about passion that’s worth being discussed.

His view is that passion for the Lord is linked to Evangelism.
I have found this to be true in my life as well.

When I spend time with the Lord often, I have a deeper love for Him.
And because I have been with Jesus — I am excited about Him and His Word.
This leads me in prayer to ask Him for opportunity.
The opportunities always come when we are looking for them.

And then — He gives me boldness and words to share with someone.
Now, I’m totally excited — because God is answering my prayer for opportunity, and I see Him working before my very eyes.

Which makes me want to get up tomorrow and spend time with Jesus again.
